The walk and the scarf

“I think I should get a scarf. It’s so damn cold” says Eve.
“He he your first winter on hormones will be rough” I say.
Now it may be that Evelyn is from a much colder part of the world, she also happens to be the one that feels cold the most. She is cold all the time.
I look at Eve. She actually looks cold. It’s 15 degrees out and she’s already freezing.
“Aren’t you supposed to be the tough mountain girl that is used to like minus 20?” I say.
“Oh it’s already cold enough now!” says Eve, self assured.
With her first winter on hormones around the corner, we decided to get her a scarf and some nice warm gloves.
“So, you want to go for a walk at like, 1 maybe?”, says Eve.
I look up from trying to write my first blog entry on my laptop.     “Sure. Do we smonky on the way?” I say.
Smonky is not a word you would find in the English dictionary. At least, I don’t think so. It is how we most commonly describe bringing some weed along to smoke.
I had my first joint together with her in a local park a few months ago. Doing this in the middle of a park for the first time, quite far from home I might add, probably wasn’t the best idea. But that’s a story I might tell you another time.

“Of course. Do we bring the sad one?” asks Eve.
The sad joint was the one we smoked from before, but decided was too much. We kept it on top of the ashtray, ready for another day. It would be a waste otherwise.
“Yea, it’s nearly 1:30 AM. We probably shouldn’t smoke that much” I reply.
What better way to go and test it while going for a little midnight walk. Nothing better than to get your mind cleared out by a midnight walk and a smoke. Don’t do what I do. Don’t take my advice. At least in this case. The walk was pretty nice though.

Back at home and refreshed with new ideas I began writing the first entry proper, this time with a little more flair to it. And the scarf? Approved by the misses herself.
